The Arab Youth Talks are a series of sessions in partnership with HSBC that host several guests, typically on Instagram's live broadcast. The Arab Youth Council for Climate Change is hosting a series of Arab youth Talks episodes to shed light on climate related subjects moderated by Reem Almuraikhi, council member of the Arab Youth Council for Climate Change.
Episode 1: Youth Participation in Climate Change Issues
The first guest of this climate series highlighted “Youth Participation in Climate Change Issues” with the esteemed participation of the official Envoy for Youth in COP27, Dr. Omnia Al Omrani. Dr. Omnia shared her long journey on climate change and discussed the importance of youth involvement and the different ways youth can participate in the climate challenge.
Episode 2: Amplifying youth voices in sustainability and climate action to the private sector
Our guest in this episode is Mahmoud Abouelnaga from Egypt and is a Solutions Fellow at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions from the United States of America. His experience in the industry provided him with the platform to operate within the private sector, thus his valuable insights could support youth in bridging gaps in sustainability and climate action between themselves and the private sector.
